PARA'KITO Family Mosquito Spray is a family-safe repellent formulated with PMD-Citrepel (p-Menthane-3,8-diol), the only botanical insect repellent active ingredient with clinically proven efficacy comparable to a 50% DEET formula, derived from Cymbopogon winterianus, a species of citronella java essential oil. PMD-Citrepel works by masking the carbon dioxide, lactic acid and body heat cues that guide mosquitoes to their hosts, confusing and deterring them without the use of harsh chemical actives such as DEET or alcohol. The patented formulation technology uses mineral clay and plant-based cellulose as binders rather than alcohol or synthetic surfactants, which significantly reduces the penetration of the active ingredient into the epidermis, enhancing both the safety profile and the protective efficacy of the formula.

Warnings and cautions

• Use biocidal products safely. For external use only. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water.
• Not suitable for children under 12 months. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• May cause an allergic skin reaction. If skin irritation or rash occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
• Always apply sunscreen before applying insect repellent. Allow at least 20 minutes between sunscreen and repellent application. Harmful to aquatic organisms with long-lasting effects. Avoid release into the environment.

How to use

1. Shake well before use. Hold the bottle 15 to 20cm from the skin. Spray evenly over all exposed skin in a slow, sweeping motion. For the face, spray onto the hands first and then apply to the forehead and cheeks. Wash hands thoroughly after application.
2. Adults and children over 18 months: maximum 2 applications per day. Children aged 12 to 18 months: apply once a day only. Always apply sunscreen before insect repellent. Reapply after swimming or heavy perspiration. Read the full label before use.
