Gaviscon Infant Sachets are specially developed to help manage regurgitation and gastric reflux in babies and young children. These common conditions can cause discomfort after feeding, but Gaviscon helps form a protective barrier in the stomach to reduce reflux and keep feeds where they belong.

The formula contains two natural ingredients—sodium alginate and magnesium alginate—extracted from seaweed. These work together to form a gentle coating that sits on top of the stomach contents and prevents acid and milk from flowing back up the food pipe.

Each sachet contains a measured dose of powder that can be mixed into breast milk, formula, or given directly with a spoon. It’s easy to prepare and fits seamlessly into any feeding routine.

Warnings and cautions

• Please read the enclosed leaflet before use.
• Do not use Gaviscon Infant with other feed-thickening agents or infant milks containing a thickener.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Not to be used in infants under 1 year of age except under medical supervision.
• Contains mannitol and sodium.
• Products containing mannitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
• Each sachet contains approximately 23.9mg of sodium. Seek medical advice if your infant is on a low-sodium diet.
• Each sachet is security-sealed. Do not use if the sachet is damaged.

How to use

1. Prepare the dose immediately before use as instructed.
2. For infants under 4.5kg: mix one sachet with cooled boiled water.
3. For infants over 4.5kg: mix two sachets. Administer after each feed using a spoon or bottle.
4. Do not exceed six doses in 24 hours.
