The Beurer FT90 is a contactless infrared clinical thermometer designed for quick, safe and hygienic temperature measurement without any need for skin contact, making it the ideal choice for measuring body temperature in babies, toddlers, young children and sleeping patients who cannot easily cooperate with traditional thermometers. By simply holding the device a few centimetres in front of the forehead and pressing the start button, the infrared sensor detects the heat emitted from the skin surface and converts it into a temperature reading displayed on the large, blue-backlit XL digital screen in under one second, with no disturbance required.

A built-in fever alarm is triggered at 38°C and above, with a clear smiley face icon indicating a normal reading and a frown icon alerting to an elevated temperature for immediate and intuitive interpretation. Up to 60 previous measurements can be stored in the device's memory for easy tracking and reporting of temperature history to a healthcare professional. In addition to body temperature, the FT90 can also measure the temperature of objects and rooms, making it useful for checking baby milk bottle temperatures and ambient room conditions. Results can be displayed in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Sound can be switched on or off, and the device switches off automatically. Supplied with a protective storage case. How to use

1. Remove the device from its storage case. Ensure the forehead is clean and dry. Hold the thermometer 1 to 2cm in front of the centre of the forehead and press the start button. The reading will appear on the XL display in under 1 second, with the smiley or frown icon indicating whether the temperature is normal or elevated.
2. For object or room temperature measurement, hold the device 1 to 2cm in front of the object or into the room and press start. To review stored readings, scroll through the 60-reading memory. Switch sound on or off as preferred. The device switches off automatically after use. Store in the protective case when not in use.
